Dr. Vince Miller is an Associate Professor of Theology at Georgetown University. He teaches courses in Catholic theology and religion and culture. His research focuses on the question tradition as a process--how religious belief is handed on through time and across cultures.  His recent work, Consuming Religion, considered the ways in which consumer culture transforms religious belief and practice. His current research is on the religious effects of globalization.
