Coming to the Yates Gallery in February!
" is an exhibit of 40 photographs by Carlan Tapp showing communities affected by coal mining in the western states of Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Mr. Tapp will be on campus Wednesday, 2/5 giving a lecture in L26 during free period and at 7:00 in Foy RB202. The exhibit will be put up this Wednesday and run through 2/11.
The second exhibit is "Dreaming of Timbuctoo", "John Brown Lives" which will be put up on Sunday, 2/16. It's the story of the political and social climate in the Adirondack NY area in the mid 1800's for African Americans. There will be a speaker on Monday, 2/17 at 7:00 at the Standish Library room L26.
