SEB Siena Fest
The College wants the students and their registered guests to be safe and enjoy the planned events. The following changes in operations and normal procedures will be in effect Thursday, April 24h, 2014 through Sunday, April 27th, 2014. The purpose of these changes are to maintain public order as well as the health, safety and welfare of the College community.
*Students must pre-register guests and guest vehicles on the automated guest registration system by Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014 at 12:00 pm (noon). Guests without Guest Registration documents will be asked to leave campus (after verification of status). All Guest vehicles must park in Lots F, G and H.
*Welcome Booth will operate extended hours and gates will close earlier than the currently scheduled time. Middlefield Drive entering MacClosky Square will be closed to limit vehicular traffic and the Cushing/MacClosky gate will remain closed to reduce risk to pedestrians, while also maintaining appropriate access for fire and emergency vehicles if necessary. Vehicular access will also be limited on Friars Road beyond Lot F. Residents of MacClosky, Cushing and New Hall may park in Lots F, G and H.
*Saint Card and Guest Registration checks will be conducted as part of normal public safety patrols throughout campus.
*Access to MacClosky Townhouses and Cushing Village area will be limited to townhouse residents, registered guests of townhouse residents and other Siena students over 21 years of age only. *Siena College students who are under the age of 21 and who are not residents of MacClosky and/or Cushing Village, are not allowed in the townhouse areas during this weekend.
*In order to maintain student safety, crowds and gatherings of students outside of any residential area will be instructed to move inside their respective townhouses or residence hall. Students are reminded of the College’s stated occupancy limits for townhouses and rooms.
Remember, Siena College Policies are still in effect:
*All Siena students must carry their Saint Card and all others must carry the Guest Registration document with another form of ID.
*There is no alcohol allowed outside in any type of container, even if student and guests are over 21 years of age.
*Alumni must be registered as guests even if they are in possession of a Saint Card.
*Guest (s) must be with their student host at all times.
*A student may register a maximum of two (2) guests to ensure proper oversight and safety of their guests.
*Guests will not be allowed to bring alcohol to campus regardless of age.
* No bags, water bottles, food/drink, weapons, drugs, alcohol will be permitted at any event over the course of the weekend, including the concert
* You must have your Siena Student ID and ticket to get into the concert.
*If you are bringing a guest, they must be registered online and they MUST have their registration paperwork AND a photo ID and student ticket with them at the concert.
* It is expected that you show up to the concert sober.
* No remittance/re-entry. If you leave the concert you will not be able to return.
