Information Technology Services (ITS)

 Information Technology Services (ITS) provides support in the use of technology to students, faculty, staff and administrators at Siena College.

Reminder: System Maintenance Window

Just a reminder that the time slot between 4:00am and 10:00am on Sundays has been approved for routine system maintenance. This time slot is frequently used and it should not be assumed that enterprise systems will be available during it. Every effort will be made to notify the campus community when systems will be unavailable but advance notification will not always be possible.

Password Reset Information

Information Technology Services (ITS) has implemented a password management system - known as the Password Reset Portal - which will allow users to reset their own password when they have forgotten it. Before the Password Reset Portal can be utilized, users must register at the Portal. Instructions for registering at the Portal as well as resetting a password may be found below.

System Status

11/3/2014 Sporadic outages Sunday/Monday on some wireless service
 
In an effort to alleviate network congestion that has been affecting Internet performance at peak periods, ITS introduced some new equipment and modified core routing Sunday morning.  The changes were successful, but introduced some unexpected compatibility problems with some of the existing Cisco wireless infrastructure that caused wireless outages for portions of Sunday and Monday.  ITS was able to implement a workaround early Monday afternoon and will continue to monitor and adjust settings if necessary. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your patience.
