Loan Options and Processing

Please note, second year sequester amounts have been announced by the Department of Education impacting the Direct Loan Program as follows:

  • Direct Subsidized & Unsubsidized Loan fees for loans first disbursed on or after December 1, 2013 and before September 30, 2014 are 1.072%. While loan fees for loans first disbursed on or after October 1, 2014 and before October 1, 2015, are 1.073%.

  • Direct Parent Loan fees for loans first disbursed on or after December 1, 2013 and before September 30, 2014 are 4.288%. While loan fees for loan first disbursed on or after October 1, 2014 and before October 1, 2015 are 4.292%.
