Bonner Class of 2015

Joanna Bebber

Joanna is studying at Siena as a Social Work Major with a Certificate in Community Engagement. During her past years at Siena, she has actively participated in several campus programs. Joanna is a Coordinator for Siena College's Mentoring Program. She is also a GirlScout Leader for Troop 1430. Joanna is a Certified VIRTUS Facilitator. Through the ACE Office, Joanna is a Bonner Service Leader serving at the Boys and Girls Club of Albany. At the BGCA, Joanna facilitates a program, open to girls ages 9-12, that discusses the common changes, physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental, that they experience during this stage of their life. Joanna is also a Manager at TCBY, an off campus frozen yogurt shop.

Mildred Condon

Millie Condon is a member of the Class of 2015 at Siena College and is majoring in French and Broadcast and Society, with a Community Engagement Certificate. As a Siena Bonner Service Leader, she serves at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Albany working on media and communications.  She also serves as a service learning research assistant in higher education. She is also a co-host for the ACE radio show, Change Makers! Outside of Bonner, she is the president of the philosophy club and has a passion for digital art.

George Lopez

George Lopez is from Troy, NY and a member of the Class of 2015. He is currently a Sociology major and a Broadcast and Society minor with a certificate in Community Engagement. He serves as a College Access Coordinator at Green Tech High Charter School, an all-boy college prep high school. George is also the producer of the ACE radio show, Change Makers on WVCR 88.3 The Saint. Before Siena, George was the Vice President of the Black and Latino Acheivers Program at the Troy YMCA and a Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar student.


Katelynn McDowell

At Green Tech High Charter School Katelynn Mcdowell is currently working on the school newsletter to keep an open connection between the school and families at home. She is also helping to plan an event where the boys at Green Tech open their doors and feed the families in the community during the holidays. She is also working to help the seniors have the opportunity to have their very first prom and senior trip. Her goal at Green Tech is making the boys experience at school the best while they are there so that can enjoy their time at school.

Ayesha Ropri

Ayesha Ropri is a Siena College Bonner Class of 2015, majoring in Biochemistry. For the past three semesters, she has been serving at St. Peter’s Hospital in the Cardiac Unit. There, she works not only to gain an understanding of how the hospital works with its patients, but also works as part of the Heart Failure Initiative. The Heart Failure Initiative gives guidance and resources to those in need who are suffering from heart failure. In the upcoming semesters, she will be serving at the Health Clinic at City Rescue Mission, which is an inner city homeless shelter.


Adderlin Taveras

Adderlin Taveras is a Siena College Class 2015 Sociology Major. She volunteers for the Siena College Trailblazer Program as a Learning Center Coordinator and for the Writing Partnership as a Student Lead Instructor. Adderlin is also interested in other hobbies and extra curricular activities outside of volunteering. On campus she is the Co-president of the Luna Club, a hispanic cultural club. She is also involved with another office on campus where she is engage in giving diversity workshops. On her down time she participates in a Latin dance team on campus and aids developing major school events that raise money for organizations, such as Expoze and Fall Fusion.


Jazmin Tejada

Jazmin Tejada is a member of the Class of 2015 and is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Biology. She is a Program Associate of Special Projects where she works to support programmatic activity development in order to help make a stronger support network for student and community engagement. She also focuses on building community partner relations through community outreach. Jazmin plans all aspects of Sunday Services, Bonner Bonding events and sits on all ACE event committees. Along with that, she helps with training and recruitment.

Hannah Waldman

Hannah is from Norfolk, MA.  She will graduate from Siena College in 2015.  As a Bonner Service Leader, she is working as an After School Program Mentor at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Albany.  Before attending Siena, Hannah did volunteer work with her high school Leo Club and Student Council.


Ann Ward

Ann Ward is a Bonner Service Leader attending Siena College as a rising junior. She has a major in Sociology, a minor in English, and a certificate in Community Engagement. She works as a Program Associate through the Office of ACE, planning special events and service days for her fellow Bonners. Recently, she worked with a large group of Bonners, Administrators, Faculty,and local and national partners as the student coordinator of the INSPIRE 2013 conference. Ann loves to travel, read, and trail run. Ann also finds a passion in Public Policy and hopes to continue her studies in Graduate School.
