Cadets of the Month



Alpha Co       
Cadet Kevin Mulvey is Alpha Company's Cadet of the Month for April 2014. Cadet Mulvey, born May 26th 1995, hails from East Greenbush, NY. Cadet Mulvey is consistently one of the most motivated Cadets in Alpha Company and serves as an exemplary role model to his peers. He arrives at every workout session and training event ready to work. This four year scholarship winner enjoys volunteering in the community, reading historical novels, and working out. Cadet Mulvey studies Accounting at Siena College and hopes to receive a commission to the Military Police upon graduation. Cadet Mulvey's work ethic, volunteerism, and warrior spirit reflect great credit upon him, Alpha Company, Siena College, and the Mohawk Battalion. 

Bravo Co
CDT Thomas McGann has been awarded Cadet of the month for April. CDT McGann challenges himself as a leader always looking for new opportunities to grow. CDT McGann is a role model for Bravo Company and the Mohawk Battalion. CDT McGann has been an active member of Ranger Company since the beginning of this year. He continuously exemplifies the Army values and maintains a high standard of excellence throughout all training events. CDT McGann maintains a grade point average of 3.24 and recently received a 300 on the APFT. He has continued to set the example for Bravo Company by staying motivated throughout physical training and always pushing himself and always raising the bar. His hard work and valiant effort as a student and leader sets him well on his way to becoming one of the top Army Officers our ROTC Program can produce. Congratulations to CDT McGann for his continued hard work and his success as a Cadet and student at one of the top Engineering Schools in the Country. 

Charlie Co   
CDT Samuel Goldenberg hails from the town of Schuylerville, NY and attends the University at Albany. He is a freshman at UAlbany and is majoring in mechanical engineering. CDT Goldenberg participated in multiple sports throughout high school and that experience has translated well over to ROTC. He has consistently performed at a high level during PT and all other events throughout the year. He also participated in Ranger Company this year and has gained a world of knowledge to take with him in the coming years. He has been and will remain a positive influence not only to other people in his class but also to upperclassmen and then freshmen next year. His character, high work ethic and his caring for others will make him a greater leader someday as an officer
