Environmental Club


About the Club

The Siena College Environmental Club is a student-run organization leading the charge of campus sustainability intiatives and environmental awareness. Some of our accomplishments include:

  • Host the annual Campus Sustainability Day during fall semester: click for Siena Life article
  • Coordinate annual on-campus Earth Day events: click for Siena Life article, Troy Record article
  • Raised money and awareness for the H2O Project and Conservation International
  • Serve our campus and local community by working with the Boys & Girls Club, Veggie Mobile, Holiday Giving Tree, Relay for Life, Annual Campus Clean-Up Day (news article), Unity House and various other organizations
  • Helped plan the 2010 & 2011 Siena College Career and Internship Fair
  • Helped make Siena College the first Catholic Fair Trade college in the nation.
  • Coordinated and directed a recycling video for NYSAR3 and Alcoa Recycling Video Competition 2010 to win recycling bins for Siena: click for video
