Major: Spanish; Minor: Latin
Graduate Student: Boston College, candidate for Master's in Romance Languages and Literatures

I graduated Magna Cum Laude as a Spanish major with a minor in Latin. I love languages and loved studying them at Siena College. The Spanish faculty at Siena College is wonderful and the language instructors are more than teachers, they are mentors. They make sure that you strive for academic and personal excellence, and I could not have asked for anything more. This year, I am continuing my Hispanic Studies as a Teaching Fellow at Boston College in the Romance Languages and Literatures Master’s Program. The Siena College Spanish faculty definitely prepared me for this new and exciting journey.  As a graduate student, I continually find myself implementing what I learned from Siena and even using some of the books from my Spanish classes at Siena in order to do my work. As a Spanish instructor, I am striving to have the same effect on my students as my Spanish instructors at Siena had on me.  It was an honor to be a part of this department for four years. I owe my utmost gratitude to these instructors for preparing me for this new chapter in my life and for their continuous support from freshman year of college to this day.
